Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region

A warm front will stall out over the area today, followed by a cold

front crossing the region tonight. A light wintry mix, mainly across

the interior, will give way to light rain or drizzle by around

midday. Highs today will be around or just under 10 degrees above

normal, mainly in the lower to mid 40s. There should be scattered

showers tonight ahead of the cold front, with lows around 5 degrees

above normal.

A deepening low pressure system will track from northern New England

into the Canadian Maritime Provinces from Wednesday into Thursday,

with dry but gusty conditions across the Tri-State. Highs on

Wednesday will be around 5 degrees above normal and highs on

Thursday near to slightly below normal.
