WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 AM EDT WEDNESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph through much of Wednesday morning for southern Connecticut. Winds gusting up to 45 mph for Bergen, Rockland, and Northern Westchester.

* WHERE…In Connecticut, Northern Fairfield County. In New Jersey, Eastern Passaic and Western Bergen Counties. In New York, Rockland and Northern Westchester Counties.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 6 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Elevations above 500 ft will have accumulations closer to 5 and 7 inches. This is where power outages are possible due to heavy wet snow.
