Poet Frances Pulle’s View of Bethel Art: ‘Artworks’

A R T W O R K S ⁉️

Was strollin’ aroun’ ol’ Bethel High 👣👣👣
now (a) times-gone-by town hall
when I stop and smell the “flowers” 🌺🥀🌷💐
mock “new age” once and for all. 😜

I sniff metal (yummy metal), 🤢
plastic, glass, scavaged debris,🛠🔨⚙️⛓
tables piled topsy-turvy like
(I’m guessing here) a TREE? 🌳

Was at the local library 📚
heard something fowl’s afoot,🦅
folks swearin’ 🤪 “What the hell is THAT?!”
(Creepy, simply put)👻

I see metal (junkyard metal) 🔩⛏🛠
scarred and weathered head to tail. . .🦅
I see red when I see signs
“NO MONKEY BUSINESS” 🙈🐒
“WE SURVEIL” 📸

Was thinkin’ we’ve been HAD SO 😳
what conclusion can be drawn❓🧐
IF THIS IS “ART”, HAVE A ❤️,
GROW IT ON YOUR FRONT LAWN‼️🛠🌷⛏🔩🥀
