Poet Frances Pulle’s View of Bethel Art: ‘Artworks’

A R T W O R K S ⁉️

Was strollin’ aroun’ ol’ Bethel High ???
now (a) times-gone-by town hall
when I stop and smell the “flowers” ????
mock “new age” once and for all. ?

I sniff metal (yummy metal), ?
plastic, glass, scavaged debris,??⚙️⛓
tables piled topsy-turvy like
(I’m guessing here) a TREE? ?

Was at the local library ?
heard something fowl’s afoot,?
folks swearin’ ? “What the hell is THAT?!”
(Creepy, simply put)?

I see metal (junkyard metal) ?⛏?
scarred and weathered head to tail. . .?
I see red when I see signs
“NO MONKEY BUSINESS” ??
“WE SURVEIL” ?

Was thinkin’ we’ve been HAD SO ?
what conclusion can be drawn❓?
IF THIS IS “ART”, HAVE A ❤️,
GROW IT ON YOUR FRONT LAWN‼️??⛏??
