Report by Paula Antolini, December 28, 2019, 9:24AM EDT

Bethel resident Teresa Fogel passed away on December 27, 2019.

Message from Bethel Emergency Management & Fire Marshal:

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Teresa Patterson Fogel, Volunteer Co- Coordinator of the Bethel Community Emergency Response Team. She fought a very short and courageous battle with cancer.

Her dedication to so many volunteer service organizations including the American Red Cross, relayforlife.org , & CT State Animal Response Team shows the depth of her love of community. Please keep Teresa and her family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Obituary to come.

Editor note:

My beautiful friend Teresa Fogel passed away yesterday, she is finally at peace and with the ones she loves who passed before her, including her family and others, and all the pets she loved. We will picture her that way, surrounded by more pets than you can count, and also forever watching over her loving husband Bart of 40 years, until they meet again. She was a loving caring person, a dedicated volunteer to numerous groups, and my amazing friend. I miss her so much already. She was taken too soon but bravely faced her next journey and is now in the arms of the Lord. God Bless you Teresa. You are in my heart forever.
