The Bethel Patriotic Association is pleased to announce that they will once again be hosting their Annual Memorial Day Parade. As in the past years, it will be held on the Sunday, one week before Memorial Day. The date this year is Sunday, May 22nd.
The parade will kick off at 2:00pm from the intersection of Rte. 53 and 302. The route is 302 east to Barnum Square, left at the square and left onto School Street where it will disband at the Municipal Center.
Any group or organization that has marched in past parades or would like to take part in this year’s will be welcome. Please call the American Legion Post 100 at (203) 748-9400 and leave a message. Leave your name, name of your organization, and a callback number. It is important to contact us if you are planning to participate as we have to set up the line of March.
Another planning meeting will be scheduled in early/mid April. You will be notified and invited to attend.
There is a set of rules that need to be abided by. It’s been two years since we’ve been able to do this and we are excited about getting back to doing it.
