State Capitol News, Public Hearing Schedule, from CT State Representative Will Duff
Message from CT Stat Representative Will Duff:
Your input is important to me as your State Representative. During this part of the legislative session there are many public hearings regarding proposed bills.
Here are some of the legislative public hearings scheduled March 13th thru March 17th:
- Environment committee public hearing agenda is here. (State parks and other environmental bills are on the agenda)
- Judiciary committee public hearing agenda is here. (Proposals on sexting and collecting past child support are on the agenda)
- Public Health committee public hearing agenda is here. (Proposals on drinking water and nursing home resident protection is on the agenda)
- Judiciary committee public hearing agenda is here. (Bills on victims’ rights and carrying a gun permit are on the agenda)
- Education committee public hearing agenda is here. (Proposals on special education are on the agenda)
If any of these issues are important to you or your family, I encourage you to let your voice be heard.

You can also email testimony on any of the bills. Go to www.cga.ct.gov and click on the appropriate committee. Your comments can be as brief as you like, but there is no limit on the length of written testimony. Just include your name and town, include the subject of the bill in the subject line of the email, and please copy my office at William.Duff@housegop.ct.gov on your testimony.
