Save the Date: The Bethel Education Foundation 10th Annual Barnum Ball is March 19

The Barnum Ball is the Bethel Education Foundation’s biggest annual fundraising event and is attended by parents, educators and community members.  Taking place each March at a large hotel/banquet facility, attendance is 350+ adults and includes dinner, dancing, plus live and silent auctions.

At the event, the Dr. Janice Jordan Excellence in Education Award is presented to a teacher or educator whose creativity within the classroom, school or district has had a significant impact on student performance and achievement.

The mission of the Bethel Education Foundation is to promote innovation, creativity, and excellence in learning for our children and the community.

Their mission is realized by Innovative Teachers: Recognizing innovative teachers with teacher grants; Creative Opportunities for Students: Fostering creativity by financially supporting unique educational programs and projects; Excellence in the Community: Helping to nourish the healthy enthusiasm that businesses, civic groups and residents have in our Bethel Community.

The following events are held by the foundation to rais funds:

They also fund their initiatives through corporate contributions and matching grants, individual donations, and community partnerships.
