(Apr 1, 2016 – HARTFORD) — Tomorrow, ahead of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal will join survivors and victims of gun violence, Pastor Samuel R. Saylor, Sr. of Gardner Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, Henrietta Beckman, President of Mothers United Against Violence (MUAV), and representatives from Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center for a press conference on continued efforts to combat gun violence in Hartford. National Crime Victims’ Rights Week will take place April 10, 2016 through April 16, 2016.
