* WHAT…Snow, possibly ending as a period of light freezing rain overnight. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches and a trace of ice expected.
* WHERE…Interior southern Connecticut.
* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM EST Thursday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
Snow likely before 3am, then a chance of snow and freezing rain. Cloudy, with a low around 17. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
