A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT CENTRAL FAIRFIELD… NORTHERN WESTCHESTER AND PUTNAM COUNTIES…
At 216 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near New York–Newark to near Peekskill.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Danbury, Peekskill, Sherman, Brewster, Newtown, Mahopac, Lake Carmel, Carmel, Ridgefield, Bethel, Wilton, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Redding and Georgetown.
