CT State Rep. Stephen Harding Announces Reelection Bid for Third Term
WHAT: State Representative Stephen Harding to announce his candidacy for a third term for the 107th Connecticut General Assembly district. The 107 district is located in Brookfield and includes portions of Bethel, and Danbury.
WHO: State Representative Stephen Harding
WHERE: O’Connor’s Public House, 317 Federal Road, Brookfield CT
WHEN: Friday, January 26, 2018 6:30pm Start Time
WHY: “For the last 3 years it has been my distinct honor to be the State Representative for all of my friends and neighbors in the community in which I was raised. I hope to continue in this role and continue to be the advocate for all those in the 107th district”
“The State of Connecticut has unlimited potential, but this potential cannot be reached without our State Government reigning in the out-of-control spending and relieving the continuous tax burden placed upon our hard working residents. Some gains have been made in addressing this serious problem, but far more needs to be done. I look forward to continuing to be a leading advocate on this issue and finally fixing our State’s fiscal house.”

After attending Brookfield public schools Stephen graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2009 from Alberta Magnus College and later received his law degree from New York Law School in Manhattan. He currently operates his own law practice in the Danbury area. Stephen first won election in February 2015 in a Special election and was reelected in November 2016 for his second term. He currently serves as the Ranking Member on the Environment Committee and also serves as a member on the Finance, Revenue & Bonding, and Judiciary Committees. Stephen also served on the Brookfield Board of Education from 12/2013-12/2017.
