Connecticut State Veterans Memorial Opening Ceremony

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Connecticut State Veterans Memorial on Capitol Avenue in Hartford will officially open to the public on Monday, November 9, after more than two years of construction. There will be an opening ceremony on-site at 1:00 p.m.
The Memorial will serve as the central site for Connecticut’s official observances and ceremonies to honor veterans on Memorial Day, Veterans’ Day and other occasions.
I encourage you all to attend this historic event to commemorate the many sacrifices made for our state and our nation.
The Memorial is located outside the Legislative Office Building at 300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT. For more information, please visit www.cthonorsvets.org.
