As of now CBS has a “Take Action Now” web page asking people to “CALL 1-855-5-KEEP CBS (1-855-553-3722)” to “Tell AT&T that you demand to have CBS stations returned to your channel lineup.”

The page reads in full:

DIRECTV, AT&T U-VERSE TV, and DIRECTV NOW HAVE DROPPED CBS FROM ITS TV LINEUP!

“AT&T has dropped CBS-owned television stations from its customers’ channel lineups across DirecTV and AT&T U-verse TV systems in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Tampa, Seattle, Detroit, Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore and 117 CBS stations and affiliates on DirecTV NOW.

“CBS Sports Network has been dropped nationally from DirecTV and DirecTV NOW and Smithsonian Channel has similarly been removed from DirecTV.

“Tell AT&T that you demand to have CBS stations returned to your channel lineup by calling 1-855-5-KEEP-CBS or through the social media options on this page.

“While we continue to negotiate in good faith and hope that AT&T agrees to fair terms soon, this loss of CBS programming could last a long time.

“We encourage our loyal viewers to take advantage of the other options available to continue watching their favorite CBS content – CBS All Access, our subscription video on demand streaming service; CBSN, CBS SPORTS HQ and ET LIVE, our free video on demand streaming channels; CBSN New York and CBSN Los Angeles, our local digital news.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Why is CBS no longer a part of my lineup?
A: At CBS, we offered an extension to continue negotiating so that you wouldn’t miss any of your favorite CBS programming. Unfortunately, DIRECTV rejected the extension and took CBS down.

Q: When will CBS be back on DIRECTV?
A: DIRECTV has kept programmers off their lineup for several months at a time, which in this case would mean missing the upcoming NFL season.  In fact since 2017, AT&T has gone dark with over 200 television stations.  Over 120 programmers and stations remain off their lineup today. We are working as hard as we can to get CBS back on your lineup with DIRECTV.

Q: Why do DIRECTV no longer have CBS programming?
A: Unfortunately, DIRECTV is unwilling to agree to a fair market deal  to keep CBS stations available to its subscribers and decided to drop CBS from its channel lineup.

Q: Will DIRECTV be crediting me for the loss of CBS?
A: The amount of any credit is up to DIRECTV.

Q: How can I keep viewing my favorite CBS shows?
A: Call 1-855-5-KEEP CBS to be connected to DIRECTV and ask them to get CBS back on their channel line-up. As well, CBS is available on all other cable, satellite, telco and internet providers.
