BREAKING NEWS:
A BLACKOUT of the Bethel High School (BHS) BETV LIVE STREAM video recording of the 2020 Bethel High School Graduation happened early in the event tonight, as some families were gathered beginning at 8:30 p.m., watching the video from home, the only access they had to view the graduation due to a limit on guests, one car per student.
Suddenly numerous obscenities flooded the chat screen next to the video screen and then racial slurs poured into the chat box.
Then the video went black.
There is much speculation in online chats as to what caused this to happen or who did this. Comments also indicated disappointment for families who planned on watching the video from home, then it went black,so they missed seeing their loved one receive a diploma.

The live video just disappeared from the screen. We are assuming it was taken down by school authorities once they became aware of what was happening, but we do not know for sure. No further information has been received.
Note: Since local or other media was banned from covering this event, we cannot report how the graduation is proceeding.
This out a damper on an otherwise happy graduation event that almost did not take place this year.
