BREAKING NEWS (information directly from the Bethel Police):
Police are presently on the scene of a stabbing in Colonial Acres in Bethel CT. The victim has died.
On Saturday, August 24, 2019, at approximately 12:57 a.m., Bethel Police officers responded to a Plumtrees Road residence regarding a report of a stabbing victim. Police found the victim in the residence suffering from a stab wound.
Bethel EMS and paramedics responded to render medical aid. The victim was transported to the Danbury Hospital. The victim later succumbed to their wounds and was pronounced deceased.
Suspect was located and taken into custody and is currently being held. Bethel Police will provide more details after family are located and notified.
