At approximately 12 noon today, Bethel and Stony Hill Firefighters were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with a party pinned between a car door and a rock wall.

Rescue 1, Rescue 2, Ambulance 1, Ambulance 3, Medic 635 responded along with Bethel PD.
The T and J Rescue Enterprises, LLC TL-9 was utilized with the HURST Jaws of Life eDraulic spreader to lift the vehicle off of the patient.
The driver was transported to Danbury Hospital with unknown injuries. The cause is under investigation by the Bethel Police Department.
