Bethel Residents: Free ‘Bethel Light Bulb Exchange Swap’ Saturday, Oct. 28th
Bethel residents; Don’t forget that on Saturday, October 28th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Town of Bethel will be hosting the Bethel Light Bulb Exchange Swap. It will be held at the CJH Municipal Center. Signs will be posted showing you where the exchange will be held.
Recently Eversource sent postcards to all Bethel residents.
Bethel earned a Bright Idea Grant. It was developed to help you reduce the amount of energy used in your home. The Board of Selectmen approved using this grant to offer Bethel residents up to five LED light bulbs, free of charge. You may exchange up to five incandescent light bulbs, in any working order, for an equal number of long-lasting, energy-saving LED light bulbs at no cost.
You must bring your light bulbs and proof of Bethel residency to the Light Bulb Swap in order to receive your LED bulbs.
If you have any questions, please call our First Selectman’s office at 203-794-8501 or email firstselectman@bethel-Ct.gov or visit EnergizeCT.com
