A Gofundme page to help with veterinary doctor bills has been created by Mindi Sanger and has raised $1,450 of the $6,000 goal. To donate visit the site HERE.

The page reads:

Last night, on June 3rd, a beloved family cat named Noodledork was shot while wandering the suburban town of Bethel, CT. Stephanie, a single mother, and her daughter, Fayth had recently moved into their new home just one week prior. They love their cat more than anything in the world and immediately rushed him to Newtown Veterinary Specialist (NVS). Thankfully they were able to remove the bullet but surgery will still be needed to repair his shattered bones. The cost for his overnight care and procedure will cost $6,000 or more. If they cannot come up with the funds needed, they were advised to euthanize him but that is not an option to the Bodner family.

After speaking with neighbors after the incident, others have reported the same fate for their cats. There is a monster living in the community and going after helpless animals. A report has been filed with local police but what happened is a heinous crime and this person must be brought to justice! The cruelty to animals must be stopped!!! Please donate & share if you can to help save Noodledork’s life. #JusticeForNoodledork

**If you would rather donate to the hospital directly, please contact NVS at (203) 270-8387. The name is under Stephanie Bodner. THANK YOU!!

Thank you to everyone who donated! They were able to get all the money, but with care credit, and a lot of borrowed money! Let’s keep this going and help as much as we can.

Noodledork is home, and his vet bills came with him!

We have done it! In ONE day through Venmo payments, GoFundMe, Care credit and lent money we were able to raise the $6000 that Noodledork needed. Here is a note from Stephanie:

Noodledork Had his surgery and everything went well. The staff at Newtown Veterinarian specialist were amazing. He has wires in his leg and a full cast for weeks. The vet said he won’t be able to walk well and will look pathetic but is hopeful that he will have a good recovery. with the help of the generous donations on Go Fund me, the ones that came through on Venmo and the Care Credit I was approved for, I will be able to cover the bills. I was so sad and questioning my faith in humanity when that violent crime happened. But all the support of friends and family and many good people I don’t even know restored that. It showed me that the is so much light in this world. So many people who care about me and protecting sweet Innocent beings. A lot of people are outraged by this. I am overwhelmed with love for all of them and express my greatest gratitude!

And I am happy to say Noodledork is coming home at 10:45 this morning.
