Bethel Fire & EMS and the town of Bethel have been diligently working to modify our response to calls in town. If you happen to see Fire or EMS personnel wearing masks or hazmat type suits, don’t be alarmed. We are following the suggested practices put forth by the CDC and CT DPH. If you call 911 for a medical emergency, the dispatcher may ask you additional questions to help screen for the potential for COVID-19. We ask you to be as truthful as possible as we want to make sure that first responders can be adequately prepared prior to arriving on scene.
