An Evening of Acoustic Roots Music in Bethel; Greg Cornell and The Cornell Brothers Play at Note Kitchen & Bar, Sept. 7th

Greg Cornell and the Cornell Brothers, a New York-based acoustic roots band,bring its blend of Americana, bluegrass, roots country, old-time and blues to Bethel, CT on Thursday, Sept. 7. The group performs at Note Kitchen & Bar, 227 Greenwood Avenue, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Siblings in music (but not in fact), Greg Cornell & The Cornell Brothers have performed at venues and festivals throughout New York and New England, as well as at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Utah. The band also plays the Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo at Edgerton Park in New Haven on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 9, at 2:30 p.m. Accompanying Cornell  (singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar) will be Amanda Homi (harmony vocals and percussion), Adam Moss (fiddle), and Mark Ettinger (standup bass).

Greg Cornell and the Cornell Brothers have released two CDs.  Its most recent one, Come On Home, features 10 original songs about finding the way home through love, work and justice.
