Taycheedah, WI – A 20-year-old woman was extricated from her vehicle and airlifted to a hospital following a serious crash on Highway 151 near Golf Course Road in Fond du Lac County on Wednesday afternoon.

Crash Details

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash at approximately 1:23 p.m. Emergency personnel from multiple agencies were dispatched to the scene.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman, traveling northbound on Highway 151, was stopped to turn left onto Golf Course Road when her vehicle was rear-ended by a northbound pickup truck that failed to slow down.

Victim and Injuries

The 20-year-old Fond du Lac woman, the sole occupant of the first vehicle, became trapped inside and required extrication by fire personnel. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 38-year-old man from New Holstein, was reported unharmed.
