Gogebic County, MI – A 30-year-old Wisconsin man is behind bars after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a 50-mile high-speed chase that stretched across county and state lines.
Suspect Identified
Authorities confirmed the suspect as Robert Henry Ganz-Brown Jr., 30, of Superior, Wisconsin. Deputies said they were investigating a stolen vehicle linked to Ganz-Brown when they located him near the Walmart in Ironwood, Michigan.
The Pursuit
- The chase spanned roughly 50 miles and involved several agencies.
- Officers deployed stop sticks, successfully ending the pursuit.
- After the vehicle stopped, Ganz-Brown attempted to flee on foot but was subdued using a taser.

Charges Filed
Ganz-Brown is currently being held in the Gogebic County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond after prosecutors authorized a 12-count warrant filed in the 98th District Court.
As per reports, the charges include:
- 4 counts of fleeing a police officer
- 2 counts of throwing objects at vehicles
- 1 count of possessing stolen property
- 4 counts of resisting a police officer
- 1 count of reckless driving
In addition, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections has issued an extraditable warrant with no bond.
