Winterfest 2016 is Nov. 25th in Downtown Bethel, Sponsor a Baking Contest, Performance or S’mores Firepit
Winterfest, the annual tree lighting event that Bethel families look forward to every year, will be held on Friday, November 25th, from 1:00 p.m.to 6:00p.m., in Downtown Bethel at P.T. Barnum Square and at points along Greenwood Avenue.
The Bethel Chamber of Commerce is working with local businesses to create fun opportunities to encourage our residents to shop local this holiday season and throughout the year!
This year there will be a baking contest and bake sale in addition to the horse drawn carriage rides, soups donated by local restaurants served by the Boy Scouts, S’mores around fire pits, hot cider and cocoa, performances and more, all leading up to the lighting of the tree by Santa Claus in P.T. Barnum Square!
This event typically attracts well over 1000 area residents, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase your business to families in our community.
If you’d like to get your business involved, consider sponsoring a Baking Contest, a Performance or a S’mores Firepit – These sponsorships are only $250. Your business name will be listed as the sponsor in the schedule of events/flyers, logo on the website event listing, banner or sign at the event and be mentioned as the sponsor during the contest and/or before after the performances and at the tree lighting.
The chamber has received interest to share the sponsorship of an event/activity with other businesses by sponsoring a smaller amount, which is certainly welcome as well. If interested in doing so, please let the Bethel Chamber of Commerce know.
