Authorities reported that the crash occurred near Exit 104 (Highway 17-92) on I-4 westbound. All lanes were temporarily shut down, backing up traffic for several miles.

Injuries Reported
Two people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash:

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the BMW had been reported stolen Thursday morning from a neighborhood in Heathrow. Deputies located the vehicle near State Road 434 and Markham Woods Road, but the driver fled before a traffic stop could be conducted.
A helicopter unit from the sheriff’s office monitored the vehicle from above after deputies did not pursue on the ground. Officials said charges of grand theft auto are expected against the suspects once they recover as per reports.
