During last night’s storm there were approximately 2000 Bethel power outages after a transformer fire on Rte 302 by Judd Avenue, reports Bethel Emergency Management and Fire Marshal. The traffic light was out and the Bethel Police Department and Fire Department was on scene. Eversource was notified.

Eversource is reporting 10 outages in Bethel still this morning.

From Eversource: “This morning’s outage status for Bethel continues to show a limited number of outages, and these are all single outage events and are currently unassigned, pending restoration of remaining larger outage events dispatched out of the Newtown Area Work Center. I will inquire about the status of crew assignment to address these remaining outages in Bethel.”
