The first “HERO Project Pizza Challenge” Changing Lives 1 Slice at a Time” is happening in Bethel and it is the kickoff event you don’t want to miss!
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. at the Bethel United Methodist Church (BUMC), 141 Greenwood Ave, Bethel, Ct.
The event is hosted by HERO a Heroin and Opiate Awareness Project, a new group recently created in Bethel to bring awareness to the heroin and opiates addiction problem plaguing young people in our Connecticut communities, and the aim is to save lives.
The fundraiser includes a small presentation that will provide important of information heroin and opiate addiction awareness. Learn all about it and help Bethel be the town that makes a difference in saving lives all over Connecticut!
The event also includes fun contests and delicious pizza!
There will be a contest of “Bethel’s Best Pizza” with numerous local pizza restaurants participating. Taste them all!
Try the “Blindfold Challenge” and sample and name all the local area’s pizza in the proper order, blind folded, for a $10 donation.
The event includes a family style dinner … soft drinks, garden salad and snacks will be provided.
This is a family event and it’s all-you-can-eat!
Cost is $8 minimum donation per person or $6 minimum donation per person for family’s of 4 of more.
Come out and cast your vote for your favorite pizza. Try them all and then VOTE!
