JOIN US for an AMAZING, IMPACTFUL and UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY to learn what no one else is going to tell you about youth drug and alcohol trends.
WHAT: Hidden in Plain Sight
WHEN: Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
WHERE: Bethel Middle School, 600 Whittlesey Dr., Bethel, CT
The HERO Project, Bethel Public Schools, Bethel High School, Bethel Middle School and Bethel Police have partnered with CAPP (Connecticut Association of Prevention Professionals) to present a Mock Teen Bedroom that challenges adults to find drug and alcohol related items that most adults would never be able to find. Adults will be able to walk through and experience a hands-on search for clues of high risk behavior…
HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT.
You will learn more about drug trends and signs such as concealment areas, hidden containers, clothing, paraphernalia, logos and more. A police officer will be in attendance to also answer any questions.
This is for ADULTS ONLY who are parents of 5th through 12th grade students, care givers, educators, or work with youth.
This interactive substance abuse program is FREE; the MOCK BEDROOM has limited spots for participants; the presentation that follows does not – reserve your spot today! Light refreshments provided.
