WHAT: The First ‘Illuminated Boat Parade’
WHEN: July 2, 2019, at 8:45 PM – 9:30 PM
WHERE: Candlewood Lake, 180 CT-39, New Fairfield, CT 06812 (The lake is bordered by five towns: Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, and Sherman.)
Hosted by Town of New Fairfield Parks and Recreation.
The boats will gather at Spear Point, then to Squantz Cove, to Chatterton Marina, and to Knollcrest lake community. Next the boats will pass New Fairfield Town Park and then go to the Candlewood Isle clubhouse.
The public can view event from the Connecticut State Boat Launch and the New Fairfield Town Park on Route 39, entrances close at 8:00 p.m..
