The 25th anniversary of the Fiddler’s Brawl takes place on Thursday March 7 at Whitlock Restaurant, 273 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, CT, at 7pm.
Founded in 1994 by Billy Michael and Howie Bujese, the “Brawl” has convened on the first Thursday of the month for 25 years! The gathering of fiddler’s, guitar, mandolin, bass, cello, and flute as well as guest female vocalists has delighted audiences for a quarter of a century!
The event was recognized in 2004 and 2014 by the Connecticut General Assembly. State Representatives Steve Harding and Raghib Allie-Brennan are slated to present a citation from the State Legislature for this musical milestone.
