Houston, Texas – An incident in northeast Harris County has left a community shaken after a teenage boy was killed following a brief pursuit involving deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say the incident unfolded on a busy roadway Saturday afternoon and ended in a deadly crash at a major intersection.
Illegal Minibike Ride Sparks Deputy Attention
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in the 15100 block of Wallisville Road. Deputies reported that the teen was riding a gas-powered minibike illegally on a public roadway.
