Midland, TX – Manuel Trevino Padilla, 42, of Midland, was arrested after authorities discovered multiple drugs and firearms during a SWAT raid on August 14 in east Midland. The raid was carried out in connection with narcotics distribution.
Details of the Raid
The Midland County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with a S.W.A.T. team, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of East Pecan Avenue. As per Your Basin, authorities reported seizing:
- Methamphetamine
- Cocaine
- THC
- Marijuana
- Several firearms
Charges Against Padilla
Padilla was taken into custody and booked into the Midland County Detention Center. He faces two counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Additionally, Padilla is facing a federal detainer for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Sheriff David Criner emphasized the Sheriff’s Office’s commitment to addressing narcotics trafficking in the area.
“We remain determined to pursue and arrest those involved in drug distribution in our community,” Criner stated.
