Message from State Rep. Dan Carter, Jan. 9, 2015:
Dear Friends & Neighbors,
With the new session officially underway for 2015, one of the biggest issues we will be facing is the budget.
Every year we as a legislature discuss the distressing trend of businesses and families moving out of our great state, and this budget demonstrates why. It would seem that the majority of politicians in Hartford have no clue what is happening with families across Connecticut. But I know that this matter is largely of the people, and I want you to be a bigger part of it.
Please know that you can track state government spending and upcoming budget information — including how it’s formed and revised — through the Office of Fiscal Analysis’ web page located HERE.
