Sen. Boucher Endorsed by National Federation of Independent Businesses

(Wilton, September 28) State Senator Toni Boucher (R-26) was endorsed today by the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB).

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with thousands of members in Connecticut representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. For more than 75 years, NFIB has been advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners, both in Washington, D.C., and in all 50 state capitals. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven.

In it’s statement from Wendy Traub, Chair, NFIB CT PAC, the organization said, “The NFIB Connecticut PAC is pleased to inform you that we have endorsed your candidacy for the Connecticut General Assembly in this November’s election. The NFIB CT PAC believes that you will be committed to the needs of thousands of Main Street small businesses and their employees in Connecticut when you are elected to serve in Hartford.”

On receiving the endorsement, Senator Boucher remarked, “It is extremely gratifying to be recognized, once again, by the nation’s largest association of Independent businesses.
Advocating and supporting businesses is one of my highest priorities in the legislature. As both a state senator and a business woman, I know that in order to bring back Connecticut’s economy we need to make it a more business friendly state.”

State Senator Toni Boucher represents the 26th Senate District, comprising Bethel, New Canaan, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
