OBITUARY

Rosa (Aigner) Timm

August 7, 1925 ~ August 2, 2018 (age 92)

Rosa von Lima Aigner Timm, age 92, of Bethel, CT died Thursday, August 2, 2018, on the Feast of Our Lady of the Angels. She was the widow of Fredrick C. Timm.

She was born in Germany, August 7, 1925 and came to America at the age of 15. She was married to Fredrick in 1944 and they moved from the Bronx to Bethel, where they built their own home and raised five children, 3 of which lived in a big old army tent until the house was completed. She volunteered for several charitable groups, including the American Indians. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary Church in Bethel, and loved the Blessed Mother and the Rosary to no end. She is survived by her friend and “prayer Buddy” Joan Rowan.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Regional Hospice and Palliative Care in Danbury for the care they gave their mother.

Rosa leaves behind her loving and devoted daughter: Therese M. Slesinsky and her husband Benjamin of Bethel, CT; 2 sons: Lawrence F. Timm and his wife Jenefer of Waterford, ME, Allen J. Timm of Greenwood City, ME; grandchildren: Terra Edwards of Newtown, CT, Aaron Timm, Alicia Sadler and Page Marie Timm all of Norway, ME, Matthew Timm of Danbury; 5 great grandchildren: Cole Edwards, Ellex and Kelton Loper, Silas and Alden Timm; 2 first cousins: Joe “Sepp” Unifried and his loving wife Margaret of Danbury, Johny Murk and his loving wife Kristen of California. She will be missed by daughter-in-laws: Donna and Diane. She was a dear friend to many.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, she was predeceased by 2 fine sons: Ronald and Robert Timm, and grandchildren: Jennifer and Johnathen Timm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd., Bethel, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel. There are no calling hours.

The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.
