Rep. Will Duff Notifies Residents of State Public Hearing on Tolls

Message from Rep. Will Duff:

Because transportation is such a critical issue in our communities, I am writing to let you know that the Transportation Committee will be holding an important public hearing on Monday February 27, at 11:00 a.m. in the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. Topics include tolls and a Transportation Lockbox.

There are five bills to encourage the implementation of tolls in our state. They are listed on the full public hearing agenda is available here: https://www.cga.ct.gov/2017/TRAdata/pha/2017pha00227-R001100TRA-pha.htm

If any of these issues is important to you, I encourage you to let your voice be heard.

You can testify at the hearing. (Click here for a guide for testifying at hearings and here for driving directions to the Connecticut State Capitol and Legislative Office Building).

You can also email testimony on any of the bills at tratestimony@cga.ct.gov.  Your comments can be as brief as you like, but there is no limit on the length of written testimony. Just include your name and town, include the subject of the bill in the subject line of the email, and copy my office at William.Duff@housegop.ct.gov.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact my office at (800) 842-1423, or email me at William.Duff@housegop.ct.gov. You can also follow my legislative activity on my website at www.RepDuff.com  or my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/staterepwillduff.
