Staten Island, NY – Three men in their 20s died early Sunday morning when their car flipped over a concrete median on the Staten Island Expressway, authorities said.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:19 a.m. near the Victory Boulevard exit, when a red 2015 Chevrolet Cruz lost control, struck a concrete median, and flipped into a grass ditch.

The driver and two passengers, aged 25, 26, and 26, were all killed on impact. Police have not released their names, pending family notification.

Photos from the crash site show the vehicle’s doors completely torn off and a pair of sneakers lying in the grass nearby. As per the reports, the car was heavily crushed from the collision.
