Read What Bethel Residents and Others Are Saying About the Proposed Crematorium
All the individuals below have signed the petition to oppose the crematorium in Bethel. The majority of names are from Bethel, CT but as you can see there are concerns from residents from other towns, and states too, about a crematorium. There are also many more petition signatures without comments, and on paper petitions. The updated petition and comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission at the hearing tomorrow night, July 15, 2015.

I heard there is another crematorium on South St. Danbury, Ct in the old Dunkin Donuts. (Best kept secret ever.) We do not need two so close together.”
Editor’s note: Regarding Ms. Matthews comment above, there is no other crematorium in Danbury. The funeral home mentioned above, on South Street, offers a service for cremation but does NOT do cremations on the premises, he sends the human remains to another location.
