“I’m honored to be overwhelmingly chosen by the delegates at the Democratic convention to represent the Second Assembly District in the upcoming election and I am confident that we will win come November.

“I promise to uphold the delegates’ trust and faith in me to represent the Democratic Party and 2nd District in Hartford.

“I’ve been a Democrat since I was registered to vote, and I’ve been an active Democrat for years, both locally here in Bethel as well as nationally working on policy in Congress.

“I look forward to fighting for a state that provides a future for our families, businesses and most importantly our children and wont be afraid to stand up to my party when necessary.

“For too long the 2nd District has gone without real representation in Hartford.  It is time we had a seat at the table, and I am the person to make that happen.

“There are five issues that I want to focus on during this campaign and as state representative:  making education a priority, economic development, reinvesting in our transportation infrastructure, supporting a renewable energy future, and tackling the opioid crisis.

“I look forward to meeting my neighbors in the district in the coming weeks and months and have already begun knocking on doors.”
