Dear Friends and Neighbors,
After a winter marked by mass amounts of ice and snow, potholes are sinking in all over our district.

*When reporting a pothole, please provide the street name.
In the meantime, the city of Danbury offers the following driving tips in light of recent road conditions:
- Leave plenty of room in front of your vehicle so you can avoid potholes without getting into an accident.
- If you can’t avoid a pothole, slow down before you hit it. But don’t brake directly over a pothole, which can actually cause more damage.
- When driving over the pothole, hold the steering wheel firmly to avoid losing control.
- Use caution when driving over a puddle of water because it might be a particularly deep pothole in hiding.
As always, if you have questions or concerns about state government please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience at: 1-800-842-1423 or Dan.Carter@housegop.ct.gov
Best Regards,
Dan Carter
