San Bernardino County, CA – A 23-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly trying to kidnap a 4-year-old child in Fontana, authorities report.

The suspect, identified as Sariaha Hannah Lopez of San Bernardino, was taken into custody following an attempted abduction on the 15300 block of Ceres Avenue on September 21, around 6 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The child’s parents reported that Lopez tried to take the child by force, prompting the mother to intervene. During the struggle, the mother suffered injuries to her face and upper body. The father assisted in restraining Lopez until deputies arrived on the scene.
As per KTLA, deputies described Lopez’s behavior as “erratic” when they arrived.
