Jackson, MS – A serious two-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Gallatin Street in Jackson, Mississippi, left four people injured on the night of October 10, 2025. One passenger was ejected from a vehicle during the collision and rushed to a local hospital.

Crash Details

Authorities said a Mercury Marquis was traveling westbound on I-20 when it struck an object in the road. The driver then lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a railing before veering back toward oncoming traffic.

Moments later, the Mercury Marquis was struck by a Chevrolet Impala, causing a violent impact. During the collision, a passenger in the Mercury Marquis was thrown from the car.

Injuries Reported

The ejected passenger was transported to a local hospital, and their current condition remains unknown. The driver of the Mercury Marquis suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
