Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday at a dirt area off Antelope Creek Road. The Toyota pickup had rolled approximately 20 feet down into Big Bug Wash.
When law enforcement arrived, two women were outside the vehicle. Fire crews soon joined deputies and discovered an unresponsive passenger still inside the truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 38-year-old woman, was alive but disoriented due to her injuries. Emergency personnel determined that her condition required air transport, and she was flown to a hospital in Phoenix for treatment.
