FEBRUARY 11, 1928 ~ JULY 6, 2019 (AGE 91)
Dorothy Elizabeth (Karrass) Zakowski, age 91, of Bethel, CT, died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Bethel Health Care, Bethel, CT. She was the widow of Edward J. Zakowski.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, February 11, 1928, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Garrison) Karrass.
Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters: Robin Hyland and Susanne Stefano; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Family and friends will gather directly at church.
Burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
