According to state police:
Ramapo, NY – On August 21, 2015 at approximately 9:47 a.m., State Police responded to investigate a multi-vehicle fatal collision involving one tractor-trailer, two box trucks, and one addition vehicle on I-87 at Exit 14B (Airmont Road). Both the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit (CVEU) and Collision Reconstruction Unit are en route to the scene.
All southbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 15, to Route 17 South.
The accident is still under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
