North Port Drug Raid Seizes 1.5 Pounds of Cocaine, 24 Firearms; Two Arrested

North Port, FL — Two North Port residents were arrested Monday after a SWAT-assisted drug raid uncovered large quantities of narcotics and two dozen firearms, according to the North Port Police Department.

“Operation Bad Baby” Targets Local Suspects

The raid, dubbed “Operation Bad Baby”, took place on Aug. 4 at a home on Alliance Avenue. The North Port Police Special Investigations Unit executed the search warrant with support from:

  • North Port Police SWAT
  • Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office SWAT
  • Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)

Drugs and Weapons Recovered

Inside the residence, officers seized:

  • 1.5 pounds of cocaine
  • MDMA (Ecstasy)
  • Psilocybin mushrooms
  • THC products
  • Steroids
  • Illegal prescription pills
  • 24 illegal firearms

Two Facing Multiple Felony Charges

The suspects, identified as Jasiel “Baby” Izaguirre Rodriguez, 45, and Jennifer L. Pardy, 46, face numerous charges, including:

  • Trafficking in cocaine over 400 grams
  • Possession with intent to sell multiple controlled substances
  • Firearm-related offenses

Both were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Sarasota County Jail as reported by MySunCoast News.
