This year marks the 5th Annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day. CT Against Gun Violence, CT Teens Against Gun Violence, Jr. Newtown Action Alliance, the CT Chapter of Moms Demand Action, Mothers United Against Violence, Newtown Action Alliance and Sandy Hook Promise are uniting again to turn Newtown Orange to #EndGunViolence.
They’ll gather at Newtown Middle School, 11 Queen St. in Newtown beginning at 2:30pm, and the rally will begin at 3:00pm. Following the rally they’ll walk down Queen St. to Mile Hill Road and then return to Newtown Middle School.
Be sure to #WearOrange, or get a #WearOrange CT shirt at the event for a suggested donation of $15. Feel free to bring signs or posters!
