Baton Rouge, Louisiana — A three-week undercover investigation by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has resulted in multiple arrests, large-scale drug seizures, and additional suspects still at large, authorities said. The operation involved controlled purchases of fentanyl and extended surveillance of individuals distributing narcotics across the Baton Rouge area.
Execution of 14 Search Warrants
On December 4, deputies executed 14 search warrants across East Baton Rouge, Ascension, and Livingston parishes, targeting both residential and commercial locations. Key areas included Florida Boulevard, Airline Highway, Greenwell Street, and other addresses along major roadways. Federal partners assisted in the operation to ensure coordinated enforcement.
Seizure of Drugs and Cash
The operation led to the seizure of a wide variety of illegal substances, including:
- Fentanyl
- Heroin
- Cocaine
- Crack cocaine
- Marijuana
- Synthetic opioid “mojo”
- Promethazine
- Oxycodone
- Amphetamine
- Methamphetamine
- Suboxone
- Hydrocodone
- Cannabinoid
- $3,841 in U.S. currency
Firearms Recovered
Deputies also recovered eight firearms, including:
- Multiple handguns
- Two shotguns
- A Blackout rifle
- A Micro-Draco pistol
Officials noted that these weapons were often connected to the narcotics distribution network, posing significant public safety risks.

- Marcus Alexander, 42 — Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Narcotics
Still at Large:
- Tremaine Rogers, 42 — Multiple narcotics charges including possession with intent to distribute (PWITD) and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Chad Jones, 42 — Three counts of drug distribution, multiple PWITD charges, firearms violations, and Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II Narcotics
- Montrell Sanders, 42 — Additional narcotics-related charges

- Frederick Alexander — PWITD marijuana, conspiracy, paraphernalia
- Keyric Butler — Conspiracy to distribute
- Antonio Butler — Meth possession and firearms charges
- Hollis Priest — Fugitive warrant, resisting an officer
- Kendric Washington — Fentanyl possession, paraphernalia
Authorities emphasized that the coordinated effort between local and federal agencies disrupted a significant narcotics distribution network and removed dangerous drugs and firearms from the community.
