Gasconade County, MO – A motorcycle accident in Gasconade County on Saturday resulted in the death of a 66-year-old Washington, Missouri man, authorities reported.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. on eastbound U.S. 50, about half a mile east of Cave Hill Road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

The 66-year-old man was riding a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle with a 51-year-old female passenger when the incident occurred. According to the MSHP report, the motorcycle collided with a deer that had crossed into the roadway.
The impact caused the motorcycle to crash, leaving the driver fatally injured. The man was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital shortly after being transported.
Passenger Injured
The female passenger, aged 51, sustained severe injuries in the crash. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital for emergency treatment. Authorities have not released additional information about her current condition, but she remains under medical care.
