“A full house, a fuller wineglass, and the fullest experience,” says teaching artist Susan Jackson, “provide full pleasure. Joining friends and meeting new people while sipping wine and connecting with your creative side is Art in the greatest sense.” Her popular Masters & Mixers, for adults who want to return to painting, learn painting or paint with friends and family, returns to Danbury with an evening of painting and wine on Friday, May 1st, 7:00pm to 9:30pm, hosted by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut @287 Gallery & Meeting Place, 287 Main Street. Susan Jackson is donating the class to support the Cultural Alliance.

Painters will be provided with paint supplies, brushes, a canvas, easel and apron. Instructors will guide painters through the proper steps and offer encouragement to create a personal work of art inspired by a featured painting. Bring your own wine or beverage and snacks to share in this festive and instructive gathering!

Presenter Susan Jackson is the owner of the Georgetown School of the Arts as well as Paint, Draw and More! Always knowing in her heart that she wanted to teach children, in 1990 Susan found her way to the front of the classroom at the Monart School of the Arts in Santa Monica, CA. Upon returning to Connecticut, Susan has been arranging and teaching drawing/art classes throughout Fairfield County. In 1994, Susan opened the Paint, Draw & More!
